Avoid eating just before the massage
Be sure to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and avoid eating within two or three hours of your massage. If you must eat, keep it light.
You may feel uncomfortable if you get a massage on a full stomach. Allow your breakfast or lunch the time it needs to digest well before you lie on the table.
Speak to your therapist
Your masseuse or masseur is there to make you feel good. If you’re still nervous or don’t want them to touch certain parts of your face, back etc., tell them.
